He has focused his studies in the creative tradition of Indian classical raga music in which he has been rigorously trained for the past 25 years in India and the US studying under the late Amiya Dasgupta\, Rajeev Taranath and the living legend Pandit Ravi Shankar.Paul has performed in around the US\, Mexico\, Europe & Asia and has just returned from a major concert tour performing Indian music in Nepal\, India\, Czech & Germany. \n \nSHASHANKA BAKSHI\, Tabla  \nhas engaged in a life devoted to the art of Tabla performance and Indian Classical Music. His training began at the age of six under the tutelage of Pt. Bhola Prasad\, who later sent him to study with the celebrated Pt. Kanai Dutta. After the untimely demise of Pt. Kanai Dutta\, he was requested by the legendary tabla maestro Pt. Samta Prasad to become his direct disciple. He continued to receive intensive training from him in the Benares Gharana lineage for the remainder of Pt. Samta Prasad’s life\, and is currently the most senior disciple of the great tabla legend. \n \nWith a career spanning over six decades\, he has accompanied such celebrated artists as Pt. Nikhil Banerjee\, Ustad Bahadur Khan\, Pt. Ravi Shankar\, Ustad Imrat Khan\, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia\, Ustad Nishat Khan\, Pt. Buddhadev Dasgupta\, Pt. V.G. Jog\, Pt. Daya Shankar\, Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt\, Pt. Ronu Majumdar\, Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya and Ustad Aashish Khan\, along with many others. \n \nGIRISH CHATTERJEE\,  Vocals \nPandit Girish Chatterjee is a globally acclaimed Indian classical vocalist of the Kirana Gharana who started his musical journey at the tender age of nine. A child prodigy\, he received a scholarship from the Sangeet Research Academy\, where he later on became a research scholar. \n \nHis father Sangeet Acharya Pandit Tarakeshwar Chatterjee was an  icon of Kirana Gharana. \n \nPandit Girish Chatterjee is the direct disciple of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. \n \nChatterjee was only14 years when he was invited by Pandit Bhimsen Joshi to perform along with him on stage at the Malknus Samaroh Festival in Kolkata.
