DESCRIPTION:In this 4 class series\, we will teach you the essentials to drum and sing yourself into peace using grounding rhythms and easy chants.\n\n\nThis is a 4 class series with a additional makeup class. The dates are weekly as follows \nSaturday Feb 10 from 2-4 pm \nSaturday Feb 17 from 2-4 pm \nSaturday Feb 24 from 2-4 pm \nSaturday March 2 from 2-4 pm \nMakeup class Thursday Feb 29 from 7-9 pm \nIntroduction \nSinging & drumming date back to ancient cultures where it was a regular community activity. The container was held for you to express yourself and both you and the community were strengthened as a result. In our modern electronic culture with its tendency to isolate people and minimize human physical connections\, we have forgotten these natural skills.  \nWhat you will learn \nThrough a series of practices we will help you regain these skills slowly and methodically so you will feel progress every step of the way. As you continue to work with these practices\, they will become more natural resulting in physical\, emotional and spiritual benefits. \nWhat to bring \nIf you have a drum you are comfortable with\, please bring it. We will have drums available. \nWe will start right at 2pm so be early and get settled in. \nPricing \nIncludes all classes including the makeup class: \n$150 If purchased online by 2pm Feb 8 \nor \n$200 At the Door
