No Good Drunk
October 19, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Fresh off the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Stacie Burrows brings her critically-acclaimed solo musical drama No Good Drunk to Corazon Topanga for one night only on October 19 at 7:30.
Haunting, poetic, and quietly defiant.
— The Scotsman
She is an engaging and self-effacing raconteuse when speaking. But she reaches another, more powerful level in song. Burrows is nothing if not honest, and final twist in the story is a real gut-punch.
— Guy Picot, Gia on the Move, Hollywood
A Southern Gothic tale that is as haunting as it is heartfelt. Burrows’ performance is magnetic. Her storytelling is rich with detail and emotion, keeping the audience riveted throughout the hour-long solo show.
— Greg Stewart, Theatre Weekly
This is a refreshingly raw, real, and unique one-woman show which, owing to its honesty and immediacy, cements itself as a standout of the genre at this year’s Fringe.
— Olivia Glover, EdFringe Review
No Good Drunk is a Southern Gothic tale about love gone wrong. A one-hour multi-media performance blending theatre, film, and songs by LA-based performer Stacie Burrows set to the backdrop of West Texas dive bars and graveyards. The show is comprised of 8 original songs and true stories that connect the through-line about how alcoholism upended the family. My grandfather drank himself to death in the 50’s in El Paso, Texas and wound up buried in another woman’s grave. As I move through the generations of the family, we learn that history doesn’t always repeat itself, but it often rhymes. This is a tribute to the women who persevered despite being tethered to an addict.
