Bio: Sam Small is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and poet. Sam’s music is intimate, intricate, and lush in lyrical imagery with seemingly as much influence from music as poetry and literature. This mixed with the support of his band brings a sound both invitingly familiar and completely fresh, invoking the attention to lyrical and instrumental detail from yesteryear while blending in modern sensibilities and feel. The band is comprised of Sam Small on lead vocals and guitar, John Would on guitar and lap steel, Nigel Wilson on keyboards and synthesizers, Wayne Whittaker on bass, and Burleigh Drummond on drums and harmony vocals.
